Welcome to Collier Kaleidoscopes! We are a family business creating contemporary hand crafted kaleidoscopes and ‘mixed media’ art. We use many different techniques such as fine woodworking, fused glass, ceramics & clay, custom resin work, plastics, beadwork and graphic design. Proprietary material combinations and techniques deliver a unique “living art form” providing inspiration and pleasure to the viewer. Our products are great for all ages to enjoy.

Our goal is to innovate, capture beauty and maximize the visual and emotional experience when looking through the lens of our kaleidoscopes. Historically, we were the first artists to pioneer colored oils layered inside the kaleidoscope’s object chamber. Our current designs suspend hand crafted art pieces in mineral oil. The art pieces tumble slowly at random and our kaleidoscope patterns do not repeat. Each viewing is a one-of-a-kind, unique experience.

All of our kaleidoscopes have hand crafted by us here in the USA. Meticulous detail goes into ensuring our optical grade glass mirrors provide excellent geometry to create the beautiful symmetrical patterns that unfold before your eyes.

We sell our products ‘wholesale only’ to art galleries, dealers, gift shops, and museum shops through out the United States, Japan and Canada along with select on-line retailers. We do not sell retail for individual pieces. We can create custom kaleidoscopes for promotional and corporate gifts.
